Vaycay Vac started after years of frequent business travel, last-minute packing, and asking myself the same question before every trip: why is my suitcase always too full?

Somewhere between early flights, tight schedules, and trying to avoid checked-bag fees, I learned what actually works when it comes to packing — and what absolutely doesn’t. I tested the hacks, skipped the gimmicks, and kept the tools that genuinely made travel easier.

Growing up in the ’80s, life felt simpler — less complicated, less rushed, and far less cluttered. That sense of ease stuck with me. Vaycay Vac is my modern take on bringing some of that simplicity back, starting with the way we pack.
